From Sri Lanka, with Care

  • Mivoro began with a simple realization. Most cinnamon sold in America is not true cinnamon at all. It is cassia, a harsher and cheaper relative that is naturally higher in coumarin. We believed people deserved the real thing, made easy to find and easy to trust.
  • So we went to the source. By partnering directly with growers in Sri Lanka, the historic home of true cinnamon, we can protect freshness, reward the people who grow our spice, and pass genuine quality on to you. Every stick, jar, tea bag, and bottle we ship carries that same commitment.

We saw that shoppers were paying for cinnamon that was really cassia, and set out to change that.
